The most wonderful time of the year …

It’s Christmas time in tropical Malaysia, which means strange images of icey pine trees in a country where it hasn’t snowed in thousands of years. Fallen Leaves is celebrating with the FORUM Festival on the 12 of December before wrapping up our 2010 season for the holidays.

Be sure to join us for the final workshop on our five-week marathon on the 5th at MAP, where we will be exploring the role of the joker in theatre of the oppressed.

Below are some snaps taken by Fallen Leaves founder Jade Ong that highlight what we’ve been up to at Krashpad and on our recent team excursion to the Malacca Art and Performance Festival.

In other news, UK documentary film director JOE COHEN arrived on Tuesday to begin his film about the work we are doing in Malaysia. Watch this space for clips and sneak previews!
